I’ve got to admit, I am no fan of hip-hop music. I’d rather listen to catchy old Alabama covers (like ‘Mountain Music’) or the lyrical poetry of Willie Nelson (like in ‘City of New Orleans’). But, a lot of Christians seem to be talking about hip-hop music nowadays. So, we thought we’d promote the conversation with our “fi’ty cent’” worth by pointing you guys to some thought-provoking resources.
First, check out Jon Akin’s recent post on the subject at Baptist21. Check out his thoughts and join the conversation there.
But, when your brain starts to hurt, take a look at the latest YouTube sensation, “The Senior Adult Hip Hop Choir.” You are sure to never think about hip-hop music the same again!
