We talked about going to Hubers again in September, but we just couldn’t wait that long. This past Sunday, our friends Ben and Laura invited us to go with them after church to pick peaches and blueberries. They ate lunch with us (thanks mom for the roast recipe!), then we headed to Hubers.

We had a “buckets” of fun pickin’ and eatin’! We picked several pounds of blueberries and peaches, but we couldn’t leave without treating ourselves to Huber’s homemade ice cream. I was the odd ball and tried pumpkin ice cream. It really did taste like pumpkin pie! I know it’s a little early for fall, but why not? Pumpkin ice cream is great year around!

By the way, our “Hubers in the Fall” offer still stands.  We’ll be going to get a pumpkin and some apples, so if you wanna go, let us know!
