Please pray for Zimbabwe missionary Quinn Morgan. We received an email yesterday saying that he has been diagnosed with a corneal ulcer (on the cornea of the eye) caused by a bacterial infection. He was flown to Johannesburg, South Africa yesterday afternoon, so that he may be treated immediately. Pray that the antibiotics will act quickly and that there will be no lasting damage to his eye. Pray also for his wife, Martha, is in the states right now visiting their kids and grandkids.
Quinn & Martha were one set of my mission field parents. They live and work in Bulawayo, the second largest city in Zimbabwe. Quinn runs the Baptist Press of Zimbabwe which, as you might imagine, is not an easy job right now. They have been missionaries in Zimbabwe for over 40 years now (if I remember right). Another connection, Martha served as a Journeyman in Sanyati on the same rural mission station that I lived on for a year.
